To setup a profile, click the profile icon.
In the PCP, you can add, edit, delete, enable/disable profiles,
and manage profile key-mapping for macros.

iBox uses profiles to commutecate with the GameClients.
A GameClient must have at least one profile assigned.

Create a [New] profile or select an existing one, to [Edit]

After entering the parameters, press the [Ok] button.

The Profile Parameters
Name The name of the profile.
Example Profile1
Method The commutecation method, that iBox uses to commutecate with the GameClient.
Example Windows Message

Method options are:

    - MultiProfile is a method, that will send a macro to more than one GameClient. Forexample can this method be setup as a container for group commands.
The MultiProfile method can not commutecate with a GameClient directly, but must "point" to other profiles via its Affinity parameter.

    - DriverLevel, by selecting this method, the profile will commutecate with its GameClient via driver level calls, for keyboard and mouse events.
This method can not send background events to the GameClient, and must first set the Client's input focus for commutecation.
It is mostly used for windows applications and not for GameClients.

    - DirectInput is used to commutecate with GameClients that use DirectInput. Forexample EverQuest.

    - WindowsMessage is used to commutecate with GameClients that dose NOT use DirectInput. Forexample World of Warcraft.

    - Network is used to commutecate with GameClients on other PC's via the iBox network.
When using the iBox network, profiles on the host PC (Network State: Server) can send it's macros to profiles on other PC's (Network State: Client).
To enable a network profile on the host PC (Network State: Server), it's Affinity must point to a profile on another PC (Network State: Client).
Affinity The GameClient, Profile(s) or network Profile this profile is assigned (points) to.
Example C:\Games\World of Warcraft\Wow.exe
Activation hotkey The hotkey used to bring this profile's GameClient to front. (Setting this for Network or MultiProfiles has no meaning.)
Example [Ctrl] [F1]
Log File This feature was installed on request, to add Copy+Paste to games that dose not support it, but can output a logfile.
(To bring up the log feature window while gameing, press [Ctrl] [L] - this hotkey can be changed in the CCP.)
Example C:Games\EverQuest\Logs\eqlog_(SomeCharacter)_(SomeServer).txt

Assigning macros (key-mapping) to a Profile

Example Macro1

(Macros are managed in the MCP.)
